Dear JMFC Fans and Friends,
January 2012
To all of you who have written us about the state of Gio's health; well, as my email I sent out to those who knew, Gio had spinal surgery July 8, 2011 which was successful. He has completed an exhausting six months of physical therapy for his back and other problems that had arisen.
I am thrilled to tell you he is on the mend and has been waiting to once again post the JMFC Website. However, during his recovery period the sad news about our beloved Clara Rhoades had broken our hearts. In honoring her we decided to leave the JMFC Website to stop in time when she passed away on August 15, and mourn her for six months.
Knowing Clara, she would have loved to know that her favorite website would be open by Valentine's Day--so we have published the newest quarterly issue and will be adding updates to the Number 1 Jeanette MacDonald Fan Club Website in the world.
You have all been wonderful in your support for Gio and staying true to your website, the JMFC.

A SPECIAL MESSAGE of THANKS TO OUR JMFC FANS
and FRIENDS FOR MY MOTHER, LILI-DIANE'S RECOVERY!
Dear Fans and Friends, Gia and I thank all of you who have sent us your letters of prayers and best wishes to my mother for a speedy recovery. As you know, she had a 3rd Heart Attack three months ago and fell, causing a hair fracture in her back. We are happy to tell you that she has since finished her extended stay in the Rehabilitation Center, which was very stressful for her. It took more out of her than the rehab gave. Always a trooper, she did her best to shed her radiant smile to all of the workers who assisted her, who we might add--fell in love with her like everyone else who meets our darling Lili-Diane.
After extensive conversations with a slew of doctors, they gave the green light for a little lady with a huge heart for love to return to Florida for the winter. The warm weather should do her a world of good in getting her back on her feet faster .
Yes, it is true, Mom will be 96 this December 31; and, she wanted Gia and I to be sure to tell all of you how much your birthday wishes have helped her through her ordeal. She sends her love to you all.
To our Mom, we all love you and miss you so much, and send our love and happy birthday wishes and another ten more.
Your loving children Gio and Gia, Vicki, Sue, Sharon, and Val, who is with you doing what she has done so wonderfully for more than 20 years now, been you Florence Nightingale Nurse.
